“Let everything that breathes sing praises to the Lord! Praise the Lord!” (Psalm 150:6, NLT).

Lesson 1

Jesus talks to us all the time through regular everyday life. We only need to ask and then be still.

Today’s Name of God Scripture

“Furthermore, we have seen with our own eyes and now testify that the Father sent his Son to be the Savior of the world” (1 John 4:14, NLT).

Lord Jesus, we thank You, Lord, for You are Lord and Master over all mankind, and You are our Savior. We praise You, Lord, for speaking to us in Your holy word and for saving us from an eternity without You. In Jesus' name, amen.

As I sat around my very first campfire in my yard, I knew Jesus was at my side. There was the perfect peace that He so often gifts us with when we are in His presence. The night was perfectly chilly but not bitter cold. The sky was just barely dark enough for me to watch the flames glimmer and saunter upon the splintered logs that were covered with a sprinkling of faded leaves. Large amounts of dried-out old branches of various sizes played peek-a-boo through the flames. Embers twinkled beneath the logs on a carpet of jet-black ash. Soon, I found myself engaged in a deep discussion with Jesus about lessons that can be applied to life just by watching a campfire with Jesus.

Having never built a campfire, I wasn’t quite sure where to start. It was then that Jesus began to show me little nuggets of wisdom. If we listen, He will speak in His time and His way.

“If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you” (James 1:5, NIV).

1. What can I thank Jesus for today? How can I praise Him today?

2. Who is in need of prayer?

3. How does God want me to pray for that person?

4. What scripture does God want me to put with that prayer?

5. How does Jesus want me to share His love today?

6. How can I further the Kingdom of God in prayer today?

7. What does this name of Jesus (Savior) teach me about His nature?

Ultimately, link the back of a watch is the portion that sits hidden. It's a secret between link you and your wrist. An exhibition caseback should excite you – it should compel you to take that watch off your wrist, break that secret, and share it with the link world.
